just wondering if there is anyone out there who has booked the Russia and the Baltic tour starting in Riga on June 30/08. I have booked for this date with two friends. We would love to hear from anyone who is doing this tour with us.

I might be on this tour. But so far can`t decide between this Russia/Baltics tour and doing the Canadian Rockies with the Calgary Stampede. I have been to Canada a few times and really liked it. ....but Russia/Baltics would be new places for me.Last week I checked for vacancies on Russia/Baltics and it was still ok.

I am starting in Russia on 3rd July 08, do you think that the tours join up ie your tour joins ours in Moscow and carry on from there?

I think that is how it will work out.

We were looking at starting in Moscow, but then we looked up info/pictures on Riga and decided that we might as well start in Riga.

Will you be travelling anywhere else before or after the tour?

yes, we are flying into london a few days early before the tour starts. Then after the tour we are planning on spending a few days each in Edinburgh, Dublin, Berlin and Krakow.

it seems so last minute, but i believe i will be heading out to riga for the june 30 departure as well. i am still having commitment issues with this tour and egypt and turkey, but i tend to be leaning in this direction.

issues? whether i want to stay warm, or be cold, but i have decided to do this june 30 riga -> copenhagen trip. money is a bit tight especially with the us dollar in the crapper, but who cares. off to russia and scandi for me
