p.s. are you going to London a few days earlier to sightsee? coz the tour leaves london straight away. I'm getting there 3days early to do buckingham palace, etc..

which trip?? the london to athens or her london to rome??!?!?! coz im booked and the travel agent said that the summer tours tend to fill up anyway.. o i booked in december for the 6moth discount. hey man, any discount is better than no dicount!

I want to do June 14 - 29 (London to Rome). It's exactly same as yours except I will be skipping Greece. I've booked my air tix already & will be staying in London from June 11-July 2. Therefore, I wanna get into this trip desperately. Too bad it's not yet guaranteed.

The agent is persuading me to do one of the two guaranteed ones 1) starting on June 11 or 2) the one starting on June 17 (ending on July 2). However, I think it will be too rush for me as I don't want to start/end the contiki tour on the day of my flight to / from London. Sigh...I'm a bit frustrated as London 2 Rome got the perfect itin I want. I regret that I got the air tix so early. I guess I will wait for 1-2 weeks to see.

Did you agent mention that the trip is likely to be guaranteed? You have any back up plans just in case?

btw great that you got the discount....i just found out i have no discount or whatsoever if i don't book directly through the US website (i wanna book through my agent coz she's the expert)...hehe

i was told by my travel agent (back in december when i booked the tour) that the trip ISNT one of the guaranteed ones BUT the summer trips are usually so popular that they dont get cancelled.dont scare me dude! i booked this trip and im going on it! :P

So your travel agen said the tour still isnt official? Mine said (back in DEC) that summer contiki tours rarely get cancelled.. geeze,, if it gets cancelled that totally screws up my travel plans! GRR!!
what if the tour was 1 person short? and then they cancelled coz you didnt book!?

Hey, my sister and I are doing London to Rome on June 14th. We r also doing check out london from June 10th.

nice to meet you catherine! coz im getting to London july 11, if you guys all wanna meet up in london (even if it's at a pub or something or in the Basement(our hotel)) let me know. it might make it an easier trip for for all of us if we kinda knew each other before the tour started..

i'm assuming you're all going to be staying at the hotel where the tour starts from? (for the life of me i cant remember the name- royal national??)

is anyone niterested in meeting me in the basement the night before and we can all go for coffees and meet properly sow e're not all shy and scared on the first day?

haha and i read that the 'basement' is a hangout there, so dont freakout thiking i wanna meet ni some dinjy cellar! ahahhaahah!
