I've just changed my tour dates, was going on the 7th-27th sep., now I'm on the tour that starts on the 24th August. Really excited,can't wait. A little worried, because i'm going solo
and have never done anything like this before.

Good to hear that there are a least afew of us doing it solo,makes me feel even more excited about changing my dates.

I live in New Zealand(Auckland).

Have you guys pre-booked at the Royal-national,I have one day before the tour starts. Would be great to meet up before the tours starts for some pre-drinks if you guys are keen.

YAY! Im from a little beach town called Goderich in Ontario Canada! I havent booked anything yet haha, next week most likely. Im so excited!!!

Im so happy to finally meet some people on this tour! I will leaving Vancouver on the 19th and heading over to visit some family in England, i should be at the Royal National on the 23rd. No, I havnt booked my room at the hotel yet....

Can you guys double check your dates for me,because i'm went to change and to pay for my tour today, but she said there was no tour that leaves on the 24th August,only on the 22nd or the 26th. I asked her to triple check and she came back with the dates.

I'll wait to hear back from you guys before I pay for the tour that leaves on the 26th of August.

Sharon, the 26th is the correct date.
The 26th is the date that we actually leave london for France.

Went and done some shopping on the weekend(2 night-time dresses,pretty top and a warm coat just incase).
Everyone I have talked to has said travel light.
There are some awesome tips on this site,mainly under one question that was ask about 'tips/hints' on what to bring, have you read it?

Look forward to meeting you in afew months time, I hope afew more people on our tour reply before we leave for London.

Have decided no more alcohol until the tour, and to try and eat right and to workout aswell, but I might just stick to no alcohol

Haha no alcohol for another 2 and a half months??? haha. well, its a good plan if it actually works haha. Im not much of a drinker in the first place, but i dont know if I could go the next 2 months without alcohol. haha.

as for the shopping..... I need to get some new dresses, unfortunately it has been raining her in Vancouver for the last 10 days or so, so summer dress shopping isnt happening right now haha.

Have you booked your flights yet?? what day are you getting into London?

10 days of rain that's CRAZY , is it always like that at this time of year.
It's bloody cold over here at the moment. I just hope the weather gods will be good to us on the tour and give us great weather

I get into London one day before the tour(25th around 3.30pm).

I'm doing the four nights in London after the tour ends in Athens. I'll stay one more night in Athens, and fly out to London the next day. I will be doing a stop over in Singapore on the way home(New Zealand,Auckland city), for three nights aswell

What part of England are you going to, when you vist your family?...I also have family in England.

Haha yes, 10 days of rain is not fun.... and unfotunately not unusuall for Vancouver, especially in the Winter. We dont get alot of snow though, but what we lack in Snow, we make up for in Rain haha.

No, I have not paid for anything yet, except for the deposit. I have not even booked flights yet haha, probly do that this weekend.

Im trying to get over to an island in England called Guernsey to see family.... its basically closer to France than it is to England, but it is technically part of England. as far as I know, the only way to access it is by plane.

Im also staying an extra night in Athens when the tour ends.... I couldnt get a late enough flight on the 15th, so I am flying directly home on the morning of the 16th. I dont mind tho... it seems im not the only one haha.

I am also going to get to the Royal National hotel on the 25th.... lets try and go for drinks that night!

Are you going to do some of the optionals?...some sound really great, will be doing afew, if not most of them.

I was wanting a earlier flight into London on the 25th but could only get the one arriving at 3.30pm.

Real busy at the moment about to move house in about a weeks time.

Not doing the Greek Islands, sounds great though.

Are you staying at the Royal national hotel before the tour?...I will be there the night before the tour(25th at around 6-7pm). Kate and I are both going solo and will hopefully be meeting up for a couple of drinks that night.
