Yes this is my first trip with contiki...actually it is my first trip overseas! I am an Aussie, I live in queensland.

I just bought a couple of Lonely Planet books and looking through them and the contiki website it looks like we are in for a great trip! I can't wait to see italy.

Where are you from Simone? Are you staying in europe before or after the tour? I am in London for a week prior to the tour starting on august 16.

Yes Italy is sure to be fantastic!! It all looks very exciting.. I'm in Australia too, but from the cold depths of Victoria. lol.

I'm starting my trip in Holland as I have distant rallies there (Fingers crossed I'm to bunk up at rallies and save a little cash)I then fly into London early on the 15th Aug and my plans are to catch the red double decker bus and see as many places as possible in the one day! I'm staying at the Royal National that night. Are you staying there too? What are your plans?

Heya, yeah I am at the Royal National Hotel too for the entire week before tour (not like i will be in the hotel much though!). All of London in one day is a good effort! i have heard the tower of london is a must see if you can squeeze that in

How fantastic, you are staying at the same place! I going to make a list of the things I really want to see and try and get there! I will suss out the tower. lol. If you don't mind me asking, are you similar age to me? I will be 22 in a few weeks. Maybe at a closer date to the trip we could make plans to catch up the night before we leave on contiki or something? Do you have facebook?

Yeah I just turned 22 before New Year. A catchup before the trip sounds like a great idea. I am in london the week directly before the tour.
