Is anyone else going on the CA highlights departing on 9/9? I an really looking forward to the trip!

I am from the United States (east coast), I am going on the trip solo.

So have u got a big trip planned or just Contiki as a lil' getaway? We're flying into NYC and making our way around to cram in as much as possible into 4 weeks, travelling a bit before and after Contiki. We have both done Europe on Contiki a few years back, and loved it!!!

This is my big trip (companies in the US don't offer a lot of vacation time off from work)

It is my first Contiki trip so I am glad to hear you have enjoyed past trips. I am thinking about an Australia contiki trip next, I travelled down there several years ago and LOVED IT and have wanted to go back ever since. Long flight though.

Contiki is a fantastic way to travel, less stress because everything is organised for you, plus you meet so many interesting new people from all around the world. I am actually meeting up with some people I met on tour around Europe on this trip. So I definately recommend using it to see our land down under again! ;p

We fly out for the start of our trip in just 9 days now, so both getting very excited. Not looking forward to the 30 hours in transit though...

Are you spending much time in Vegas?

I am just spending the pre-night in Vegas, I think I fly in around 5pm. I got my travel documents yesterday from Contiki. Have a safe flight over and I will see you in a couple weeks!
