I am departing with the trip starting on the 9th of november and ending on 24th of november. After the trip i will stay a additional week in ******church. I am looking for fellow-travelers and advice what to do.

I too am booked on the tour on nov 9th, and hope it doesn't get cancelled. I am really looking forward to it and hope it is a good tour. I went on a contiki in Australia last Dec and it was great, and i am going on another one in Europe in sept.
I am not sure what advise you want but if you are worried about the trip don't be. It will be great. I'm going on my own......

Just paid for the explorer tour departing Auckland 9-11-06! Im so excited. This is my first conkiti and im travelling alone. Cant wait. Im stopping for a relax in Bali on the way over then spending some time in Auckland before the tour. Looking forward to meeting everyone! Rachel

I am on that tour too! I am going on my own as well. Rachel, you will love the Contiki tours. I did Greek Island Hopping last year and it was one of the best trips I've had away. For Jos, I would recommend getting the lonely planet guide or just wait until the end of the tour when we reach Christchurch and pick up some brochures from the hotels etc.
