Greetings,

This summer I will be going on my second Contiki and I am wondering which optionals are "musts."

Last summer I went to Europe, so I know that they are all pretty awesome. I'm just wondering if there are any in particular that should definitely not be missed.

I have just finished the Grand Explorer last week. Let me just say that you are going to have an awesome time in NZ. The optionals I did which I would highly recommend are:
Bay of Islands - Awesome Adventures & also the Exictor; Waitomo - Black Water Rafting; Rotorua - Luging & Hangi; Taupo - Huka Jet & Dinner Cruise (we made it a theme party - a "P Party"; Wellington - Optional Dinner - it rocks & Kapiti Quad Bikes; Fox Glacier - Glacier Hike was amazing; Queenstown... where do I start? OK An ABSOLUTE MUST is Skydiving, Shotover Jet, Fly By Wire (the guys that did the Canyon Swing said it was fantastic too). I did do some other optionals, but I wouldn't class them as "must dos". Hope you have a blast. Or as they say in NZ "Sweet As"!
