Hi Sandeep. Im so glad someone else has booked that tour on 21st feb. Was starting to worry I'd be the only one!! Have you been on a contiki trip before?

I never have, but I have friends who have gone to Australia and Europe through Contiki and they had a blast.

How about you?

A mate of mine went to Australia with contiki quite a long time ago. She loved it so thats why I thought I'd give it a try! Are your friends travelling with you on this trip then? My mate went on her own and loved every minute of it so I'm hoping I'll be ok on my own too!!

I'm going on my own as well... my friend went to both Australia and Europe on his own, and has a great time. He said everyone was really cool, and still keeps in touch with some of the people he met.

When will you arrive in Auckland? My flight will get in real early the morning of Feb 20, so I have a day to hang out before meeting up with the group.

I arrive in Auckland on the 16th. Going to stay with my cousin who lives in Auckland until the tour starts. I tried to book into the hotel in Auckland that they recommend but it was fully booked, so Im staying with my cousin for a few more extra days instead. Ive got a two nite stopover in Singapore before I reach Auckland! Cool yeah?! What time are we all meeting up? I guess they'll let us know nearer the time.

I heard that we meet up at noon at the hotel on the first day of the tour (Feb. 21). I wasn't able to book a room into that hotel in Auckland either, but I figure I'll just find some other hotel that's in the area, and then I'll meet up with the group the morning of the 21st.

Hey Kyle. Cheers for the message. So glad to hear from a Brit!! And you're going on the same tour! Cool! Im only doing NZ Im afraid. Couldnt get anymore time off work. Got a month off already! Im stopping in Singapore for 2 nites on my way over then Im going to see my cousin in Auckland for about 5 days before the tour starts. What are your plans?
