Hi Claire I am on facebook ..... my full name is Rohani Kamso, I arrive 3pmish on 21st and fly out of Christchurch at the crack of dawn the morning after the tour finishes!! Am excited and trying not to pick up a cold, so don't want to be sick for the tour!! Every second person I know seems to have a cold!!

I have done a few Contiki tours and all of them have had mainly Aussies on them with a sprinkling of other nationalities .. It's great to meet new people!

hey bec, yeah i think you should probably book a hotel rather than a backpackers if you are going to go skiing...trust me there is nothing worse than being cold wet and tired and having to wait for a shower...im staying in queestown for a few extra nights. oh and i cant believe that you've never seen snow!!!

I am a warm weather person, bring on summer time in North Queensland with 30-40 degree heat! This cold weather is going to be so out of the norm for me. I have sooo much shopping to get done before I am ready to fly over.
