I'm going to be on the Grand Explorer trip from Auckland to Christchurch, departing on the 3rd Jan 08. I would love to hear from anyone that will be on this trip as I'm travelling alone and it would be great to be able to get to know some of you before the trip starts.

I have booked Christchurch to Auckland!!! Other way round on the 03/01/08 was debating whether to change it!!
Will speak to travel agent on Saturday..

I will be going on the Contiki from Auckland on 3rd january and will be getting to NZ on the 2nd January. I am also travelling solo and its also my first trip overseas as such. Its good to know that there will be a few aussies on the trip. Not long to go now! See you all soon Rachel

Yeah i am staying at Mercure as well may have to meet up for a drink?...I checked my flight details and i actually fly out of Melbourne to NZ around 12:30?..I am starting to get really excited?!..are you staying over there after the Contiki?

My flight leaves Melbourne at 11:35. Yeah a drink would be awesome... head to the casino for a look maybe cause we don't do much in Auckland. Will you have a phone? i will but im waiting on my new sim to come so i don't no my number yet.

I'll be on the Grand Explorer from the 3rd-17th Jan going from Auckland-Christchurch. Its my first time overseas and Ill be alone too. But Im not worried. It seems most people are alone and everybody talks about what a good time they have.

Im from Melbourne and like everybody else seems to be, ill be going over on the 2nd and staying at the Mecure, and then coming back on the 18th. Unfortunately my flight is at 8:10am, which means I have to get up at like 3-4am! I think my travel agent must have known I work nights and dont usually go to bed till 3-4am
So I guess ill be there to scope out the place before you guys get there. That is if I dont get lost on the way from the airport

It looks like its going to be just an Australian tour of New Zealand at this rate
