Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone is going on the Christmas / New Years tour at the end of 07? For those who have already been, what was it like and what optionals would you recommend?

Hi, my name's Brian & I went on the Grand Explorer tour in October 2000 by myself & had a great time. I started out in Christchurch and ended in Sydney. The scenery on the South Island is breathtaking and Queenstown offers the best optionsls. The north island is more citylike than the south which has more sheep than people.
The weather can be cold on both islands so bring some warm clkothing.

Hi, I'm booked on the Grand Explorer leaving 22 December in Auckland so I'll be there for Christmas and New Year. I haven't found anyone else doing this tour, but my travel agent tells me that there are only a few places left.
