I just booked my trip on the Grand Explorer Sept 15 start date today, and I'm pretty damn excited. I'm coming from Canada and looking for anyone else who is going on the trip! Look forward to meeting you all.

I am doing that tour too, I think. Officially mine says it starts Sept 12. Is this the same one? I am doing an Australian tour before New Zealand and I get to CC Sept 13. When do you arrive?

Yeah mine says it starts then to. After the tour I'm staying in Auckland for a week then heading to visit a friend of mine in Australia. I think I get into Christchurch on the 14th. Where are you travelling from?

Yeah I'm excited! I'm coming from Calgary Canada...it's a LONG flight haha.

They are a blast@! I went to Europe last year and had an amazing time. It will be a REALLY long flight! And I hate flying but I am sure it will be well worth it.

i think im going to book this trip.. quite nervous because i'll be going alone (but im hoping to do a semester in europe next year, so i guess this is like training.. right?) and ive heard that lots of the people on the trip are mid to late 20s and ive just turned 20!

Don't worry about being nervous! Pretty sure everyone is haha. I'm doing the tour then spending another three weeks around NZ and Aus on my own. I'm pretty nervous that I'm going to have no idea what to do lol! Where you travelling from?

im from australia, but i'll be flying into christchurch from wellington (im doing this community volunteer thing in auckland and wellington for five days in each place before contiki)..

did you guys book through a travel agent or contiki? im thinking im going to go out and book it all tomorrow.. eek!!

I booked through a travel agent, but I think it's just as easy to book through Contiki. Good Luck!
