I'm on the Grand Explorer as well departing July 16th! I'll be staying 1 night before tour and 1 night after.. Im so excited but iv just realised I only have a couple of months left to save!!

Are you staying before the tour as well?? I haven't booked my flights yet, im waiting for a good deal but it would be good to try and get on the same flight :-)

I will be staying 2 nights in Auckland before the tour (fly from brisbane on 14th July on Pacific Blue) and Im also staying an extra 3 nights in Christchurch at the end of the tour flying out Pacific Blue on 2nd August.

I thought it would be best to have more extra time in Christchurch to see the Cadbury Chocolate Factory and all the shops there - apparently it is great for shopping!!

I have booked everything now so I am so excited and am on a countdown till i fly out - 98 sleeps to go!!

I was thinking about having some extra time in Christchurch as well but I have to get back to work so I'll probably just stick to the 1 night..

I pretty much am apart from clothes and suitcase - im shocking when it comes to packing!!

Our tour finishes on a Friday and I work in an office so i thought why not - ill have the rest of the weekend there - that and the only flight to brisbane from christchurch with pacific blue was at 7 in the morning (i am not looking forward to the 3am wake up to get to the airport on the sunday i leave)
