I will be going on that tour as well as my cousin Melanie just finished organising her part of the tour and flights. She only decided to go about a week ago so have been scrambling to organise it all in a hurry. We are both from SA and are looking forward to the trip.

I'm also thinking of doing this trip although a bit nervous. Have never done Contiki before and going by myself. Sounds like a good tour though. How old are you guys? I'm 29 and from Scotland although been having a gap year in Australia so will be coming from Oz.

Im 26 my cousin is 21 it is her first overseas trip and contiki tour but I did one back in 2004. I Went to America and did 3 Contiki tours and had a awesome time meet some great people from around the world and am still in contact with alot of people from the trip. I am hopeing for the same out of this tour. And if you are nervous about coming on your own I wouldn't be I did the USA trip on my own and everyone on the tour was welcoming and we all got on great the first night we had in Las Vegas we were all out partying as if we new each other for years. Hope to catch up with you all in 51 days.

Good to hear from another person who's coming at this rate we will all know each other by the time we go. Canada is on the list of country's I want to visit but will have to wait a few years got this tour this year and planning a trip to Europe in 2010. See you in 47 Days.

Hi Everyone. I'm 28 and I am also travelling by myself. I've heard from a lot of people who have done this same tour and they tell my it is the most fun I will ever have. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Oh and if anyone hasn't heard I believe you can get the canyon swing for free if ya do it in the nude... have a think about that one!! hahaha

Oh thanks mate I was hoping some people would join me... ahahahaha No matter, is anyone booked to stay an extra night or two? We finish on the 1st I think and we leave on the 3rd, anyone else sticking around the extra days?

Me and Melanie are leaving on the 2nd I was going to stay the extra day but in the end decided to spend an extra night in Brisbane after the trip on the way home. But our flight is at 4PM so should have all morning to get out and do something around Christchurch.

Not long now until Wednesday. Anyone else feeling nervous and excited at the sametime? At this point I am just hoping I get on the right plane.
