Hi All,

Just wondering who else is signed up to this tour next March?

My friend Erin and I will be coming along and are really looking forward to more Contiki shenanigans after doing a tour of Europe earlier this year!

We are both from Sydney, Australia.

Drop us a line and say hello!

Michelle

Hi Michelle!

I'll be on this trip as well. It will be my first Contiki experience and I can't wait. The closer it gets, the more excited I get Smiler
I'm from New York, so i'll be the one with the tremendously horrible accent.
I'm actually working out my flight arrival (still) so right now I'm scheduled to get there on 2/28....when will you and Erin be getting there?

Hi Barbara,

You will love Contiki! We had the best tour guide in Europe and he made the long drives between stops so much easier to bear! I doubt there will be too many long bus days with NZ being so small though - well I hope anyway.

Don't worry, we are used to the New Yorker accents after our last tour! Had a few people from Texas as well. That was much worse Razzer

Erin and I arrive on March 1. Nice short flight for us!

Are you planning on doing many of the adventure type excursions? I'm a bit of a wuss so I don't think there will be any bungy jumping or sky diving etc for me!

Hi Barbara,

We liked the sound of the glaciers too. Was also thinking of the glow worm caves, the jet boating and perhaps parasailing somewhere.

Maybe the zorb is worth a go as well. Depends how adventurous we are feeling!

Just over seven weeks to go now! Whoo hoo!

Hey Michelle,
A co-worker of mine actually recommended the glow worm caves...she did the one where you float through them (black water raft) so I was thinking about doing that.
Have you ever been to NZ before?
I swear the closer it's getting, the more exited I am Smiler

Yeh the black water rafting is definitely on our list!

No never been to NZ which is ridiculous seeing as it is so close to us!

I am getting very excited now too. The more I look at the excursions, the more I want to do!

Will spend a fortune at this rate!

Cool we can do it together Smiler I've now become an annoyance at work because I some how manage to bring up my vacation in every conversation....I imagine it's qite annoying to my co-workers....but I'm ok with that Wink
I can't wait...can't wait.... can't wait!!
Also, it's freezing up in this northern hemisphere of mine....today its about -5C....it's freezing. So I can't wait for the summer weather!!

I just looked at the website for the black water rafting and I'm excited but a little concerned about the "small waterfall jump". I am such a wuss!!!!

I too am annoying everyone at work! I didn't have time off at Christmas but most people did so I think that entitles me to bragg!

So what do you do for work?

Lol yes you would be hanging out for some sun at -5C! I have never experienced minus temperatures. Would be very strange to me!

Are you coming along by yourself?

What excursions are you thinking of doing?

Yes, it's just me, myself and i. Big Grin

I plan to do as many excursions that i can (the ones I like of course), try new things. I've always wanted to go skydiving and the black water rafting sounds fun too.

and maybe closer to the time of the tour more people may pop up?!
