yes, I'm also kind of nervous, only a few weeks to go...! I can't wait to jump on the plane...!
Do you know what sort of accomodation we will stay in? I would like to take a trolley with me, but I don't know whether it's appropriate (if we stay at hostels, I suppose it's better to take a backpack...??)
By the way, I'm from Germany.

We stay in a hotel. I`m going to take a bag, I think it´s better! You can have one bag with 20kg and onde handbag! How old are you? Do you going to New Zeland only? I´m going to Australia too!!!

thanks for your info! As we stay in hotels, I think I'll take a trolley instead of a bag.
I will stop in Hongkong (on the way back) for a few days and the hotels there don't really like backpackers.
Unfortunatly, I am only going to NZ, due to limited time off work (my uni years have past unfortunately, I'm 28...) Are you on a round-the-world -trip? Are you going to OZ with Contiki, too?

I´m 21 and I´m a physiotherapy student. In Brazil English is very important to get good jobs, so I´m going to Australia to study English and then I will take the opportunity to visit New Zealand and know a bit more of that corner of the planet.
When do you will arrive in Aukland? I´ll arrive in january 26!!!
