hello to anyone out there planning on doing this tour i know its awhile away but im pumped already! my partner and i will be doing this contiki tour as apart of our honeymoon. i did a contiki tour in europe last year and it was a blast so my fingers are crossed that this trip will be just as fun. hope to hear from some fellow travellers soon!

i just realised that i should mention that we are doing the reverse start tour. so our trip begins in christchurch and finished in auckland.

I start in auckland and finish in christchurch.

I went to NZ south island last august with my parents and it was cold! very cold! We saw heaps of snow, especially driving into to Te Anau and into Milford Sound.

I love NZ and i can't wait!

I'm going on it - starting Auckland but I'm ending in Queenstown on the 22nd (doing the 16 day version).

I'm from USA - don't hold it against me! I'm hoping for unseasonably warm weather there as we got snow here today.

Cool Where abouts in North QLD? I live on the Sunshine Coast.

We all live in Townsville Could be a struggle NQ girls having to deal with a real winter...The coldness is going to be a rude shock to the system. I grew up in South Oz so at least I know what to expect, but never saw snow.

Where abouts in Townsville?? Haha yea it will be a bit cold for you northerners. It gets quite hot on the coast aswell, but i love the cold so i can't wait!
