Hi!

I'm doing the Grand Adventurer (Reverse Start Christchurch) starting 6 February, and I think our tours are the same, but you guys go on a few days longer, up to the Bay of Islands etc.

I suppose we'll find out if it's the same one in just over a month. Yay!

By the way, I'm 23 and from littl ol' Tassie. I'm looking forward to getting off this island for a while Smiler

Nah, I posted on the Grand Adventurer a while back and no one has replied yet, which is why I investigated this one.

Yeah, hopefully there will be a few in their early 20's. I don't really mind though, so long as everyone's friendly, cos this is my first o/s trip on my own. Scary...

Hopefully meet you soon!

I haven't given optionals too much thought. I want to try a few adventurous things like skydiving, or the canyon swing, but it will depend on whether I can muster the courage on the day. Definitely will try white water rafting and things like that.

The night life will certainly tempt me! I won't say no to a drink or two or three.

Awesome.

I am from England but in Australia for a year and currently working in Brisbane. Thought I'd see NZ while Í'm in this part of the world. I am 25 but don't think age is much of an issue. I did a Contiki tour of Australia back in August and everyone got on so well, no one thought about ages, so don't worry about it.

I'm really looking forward to this tour!

I'm not doing any of the crazy thrill seeking things! I'm gonna do more tame things like cave tours and cape reinga and maybe some walks etc. What about you?

no jet boat or black water rafting even?

or do you mean like sky diving and bungee...ill be coerced somehow into doing one of those!

def going to do some nice walks and stuff too I want to do the Routeburn Trail Hike in Queenstown...Supposedly barely anyone does it but its meant to be an awesome walk, really popular and great scenery. Also I want to do Te Puia in Rotorua, again not many people do it but those who did said it was great and you get to see water geisers and more of the mud pools and stuff. I have created a list of my optionals Big Grin
