Hello

Was just wondering if anyone is goining on the Grand Explorer 15th September 2009??????

This is my first time travelling out of Australia, I will be travelling solo and i hope to meet people that will become life long friends and travel buddies.....

If anyone has any tips or whats best to see in NZ please let me know.

hey pretty sure Im doing the same tour , thought it started on the 14th but im probly wrong , unless they have two tours and they stagger them as day apart hmmm ,not sure.But if we are doing the same tour would be good to get to know you before hand I did a 21 day european vista in 07 and that was great , but there were heaps of ppl who had made friends before the trip so hopeing to do that this time

I'm looking at doing this tour too (reverse start from Christchurch on the 14th). Would love to hear from ppl who are also going as I'll be travelling solo. Is anyone else planning to stay in NZ for a few more days after the trip??

my advice is take as much mpney as you possibly can , I did a european contiki in 2007 and barely had enough money for the taxi to the airport on my last day.My travel agent hadnt told me the shuttle bus didnt run the time I needed to be at the airport either.Pack a little first aid kit as well always comes in handy.

hi guys i am thinking of doing this tour again i done it at the same time this one starts but last yr i had i f**ken ball obviously i thinking bout doing it again if u want to more and see pics and what not of what it will be like my e - mail address is richie_22_77@hotmail.com i have msn but there is one tip i will give is when you get over there stock up on medicine and with regards to money i only took 3000 and came back with 1000 so i guess it really depends on what u do really. oh and dont go reverse start in Auckland the south has so much more to offer in the way of scenery believe me. any whooo if ya wannna know more add me ill tell ya alot more. cheers Richie.

i think i confused my self there i meant don't start in Christchurch start in Auckland the south island is much more beautiful and is worth the wait.
