Hi!

I'm going on this trip as well. I am not doing Rome though.
So glad to have another solo traveler aboard.
I'm from NYC.

Hi, Sooo great to hear others are on this trip- it might be a glitch with the site but the oz website for contiki says it starts on the 10th. very weird. I know I gain a day going over and lose one coming back to australia. I arrive in london on the 6th so would be great to catch up with anyone that gets there early. Sounds like it could be a great mix of people Smiler

I've been told that a very small percentage of people going use this forum. I hope a lot of people go on this trip. I'm so excited we are all coming from different countries.
How old are you ladies? I am 27.

Hi Olga & everyone else,
I originally planned for two weeks through italy and it was cancelled recently so london paris rome was the next best trip around the same time. I've planned extra time in london to start and paris after rome but paris is full of museums and sight seeing that its going to be hard squeezing it all in apparently. Its great about the mix of travellers I agree! I'm 28 and I think solo has big benefits.
I think more people with join the forum as we get closer though- I'm sure we'll have a blast!

Hi Kristy,

I had to change my itinerary actually, the flight schedule is not very good when it comes Rome, so I had to change the last stop to Amsterdam, simply becuase I will get a direct flight from Amsterdam to Toronto. I will have to stay an extra night in Amsterdam though.

Hi Olga,
Thats a shame but at least it works out better for you to get home. Its hard trying to work out flights and dates and extra accomodation- I ended up booking an internal flight from rome after the tour back to paris because theres so much I want to see. Does your tour still leave on the same date? This is my first contiki tour so not sure how they work.

Hi Kristy, actually I have decided to go in May, my tour is on May 7th (May 8th official start date). I have changed the date due to Amsterdam's tulips and a better spring weather.
It is my first time going with contiki as well and I am still unclear on some things....however if you have any concerns you can always call or email Contiki for answers.

Kristy,

I hope more people sign up for our tour. I called Contiki and she assured me that our tour date will not be cancelled. I am really excited.
I'm actually flying there a few days early to see family before the tour starts. Why don't you add me on facebook. jam2382@yahoo.com

Hi Kristy,

My contact at Contiki couldn't tell me the exact number signed up, but she said it is at least 25 people.

I'm getting really excited. I am getting in on Thursday the 8th in the morning, but am spending time with family before the trip starts, so I don't think I'll have time to meet up beforehand. I'll be at the hotel on the 10th at 2.

Can't wait! Pray for good weather.

Hey, everyone. I'm from USA, Chicago. I'm quite excited about this tour, and I hope you all are too! Someone want to show me how this works? It looks like you are talking to other people, but I only see Explorer and Miss Traveler.
