I've never been to Europe either, so we've been looking up things online, international checklists, that sort of thing. I have never been on a Contiki tour, but the lady that booked it for me said she has been on 5 tours herself and loved it. Plus I have had friends that have been on Contiki tours as well.

Hi again. Im actually staying at a friends place in Hampshire for a few days prior to the Contiki, but the night before Im staying at the Royal National on Bedford Way. I think my checkout will be around 10am, so Im going to try and check into the Imperial Hotel in Russel Square before lunch. Isnt there the basement there with net access and contiki information? My name's Amy and I'm from Melbourne Australia. I'm 21 and this is my first trip to Europe and I won't know anyone, but I'm sure you're all awesome people and am sooo excited about this trip. My flight arrives at Heathrow at 1:20pm on the 25th (Melb -> Hong Kong ->Heathrow), so if anyone else is on it, put a post up some time tomorrow and I'll keep an eye out for you (although I'll prolly sleep most the way :P)
