Hey, anyone else going on this one... can't wait to meet ya. This tour is coming up soon and I haven't done a lot of research on the cities. Is it foolish of me to rely on the tour so much to show me the main stuff? I was thinking with my spare time I would just wonder around and enjoy the culture and atmosphere. Or should I really add additional destinations in each city? And how much french and italian should I know? I'll take any help I can get!

Hey Maddy! My friend Jacky and I are coming on the same trip as you! We were hoping to be in touch with someone before we got there! We are super excited! And I have been sorta looking into some stuff about the cities. I don't know much italian or anything, but my friend speaks spanish so we're hoping that helps and I have a book about Europe (for dummies...I know...I'm such a tourist! haha) and I think we're going to add some extra things in, but mostly are going to enjoy the culture like you were saying. It might be fun to get lost and make fun memories vs seeing some stuff we might not appreciate that much.
