Hi! Is anyone going on the 12/29 - 01/05 tour? This is my first time on a Contiki. I am booking everything this Friday. Do people ever fly out a day early to rest up before beginning the tour? If not... then what is it like? You get of the plane and pretty much hit the ground running?

I think you guys are on the same tour as me! We have a thread going- Dec. 30 - Jan. 7 (since we are doing the 2 extra days in Paris. I know the dates vary a day or 2 because of where you are flying from. People coming from the US and Canada have an extra day of travel since it will be the next day by the time we get there due to the flight time and time change.

Because of all that, I am leaving on Dec 28, arriving on the 29th so I have that whole day plus most of the 30th to get my bearings before the tour actually starts.
