Well we need to take the time through Customs into consideration and maybe choose a time when we can meet up as long as some of us don't mind waiting for a little while

HI ppl.. i'm all booked for the tour and i really cant wait. hahaha.. it's my first europe trip.

hmm... since we're all gonna reach in the morning. i do think that meeting at the McDonalds would be a good choice.

i just bought a backpack.. europe here i come..

I bought a video camera last Thursday so I'll be getting everyone on camera *evil laugh* haha it'll be fun taping all the crazy adventures and sights

I'm just waiting for the Australian dollar to get strong enough and then I will be getting an ANZ Travel card...I'm trying to decide whether to buy it in US$ or Canadian$ because I'll be spending most of my time in Canada after the contiki...but if I come back and the aussie dollar value has dropped then I could make some profit hmm ohhhh the complications of currency conversion :P

Just wondering what type of bag everyone is taking with them??? Suitcase or Backpack??? xx

Ok so I'm taking a suitcase with an empty backpack in it for my way home if I have any extra goodies to take on the plane that I have picked up along the way

I also bought a Pacsafe City 100 & Pacsafe City 200 for the plane and for when I'm out and about because I wanted something safe and secure that I could wear across the front of me

hi i am doing the london paris and amsterdam tour I am also travelling solo and first time overseas. I will be in london a couple of days before the tour starts staying at the royal. If anyone else will be there let me know.

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in visiting the Catacombs of Paris early one morning when we are in the city? I would absolutely love to go and check it out! I think it opens at 10am and closes at 4pm but I'd probably want to get there a bit earlier just incase
Anyone up for it?? haha it'll be fun Then we can check out other places after!

That's awesome!! I have printed out information on the catacombs so we know where to go on the morning of the 13th August (I am guessing this will be our free day to look around)

I'd love to also visit the Louvre, The Pantheon, Luxembourg Gardens, Musee Dorsay, and Eiffel Tower (All reccommended to me by a friend of mine that went to Paris)

Anyone know of any other places that are worth a visit?

Ok so I know I'm hogging this blog haha but I'm just gettin so excited about the trip!

In London I'm thinking of going on the Jack the Ripper Walk tour one evening for 7 pounds? I'll be seeing a musical on my first day in London (Saturday) so I was thinking I might miss the musical provided by Contiki and go on this Jack the Ripper tour or if one of the other nights is free I'd go then (If anyone else would like to join me that'd be awesome!)

In Paris I have thought about not joining the optional Moulin Rouge show as it will cost around AU$250 for just one evening meal and show (I haven't heard good reviews about it either) and so I have thought about going on an evening bike tour around Paris that evening which also allows you to go on a cruise down the channel that runs through paris for about AU$70 and then grab some dinner somewhere after
