I've never used Contiki before, either, but a few of my friends have and they say great things. I'm also travelling by myself.

When will you be heading to London? My flight leaves on the 15th but arrives the morning of the 16th. I don't know about you but at this point I'm sharing a room. I wonder how they pair people up.

My flight also leaves on the 15th, and I arrive on the 16th at 11:30am. I booked the superior room, so I will be by myself. I hate sharing a room! lol. I'm not sure how they match people up. I know they will at least put you with another female. Are you heading anywhere after Amsterdam? I'm flying from Amsterdam to Dublin, Ireland to do a tour of Ireland for 7 days.

I will just be heading back home to work from Amsterdam - unfortunately. Ireland should be fantastic. I have some friends that did England, Wales and Ireland last year in June and had a great time.

Hi Jim. It should be a good time! So which flight are you taking over to London out of NYC? I'm flying over on the 15th arriving London at like 9am (or something like that) on the 16th. I'm flying from Orlando to NYC to London.

I actually fly out of newark, which is nj, and arrive the next morning at 645 am.. i used to live in orlando, doing the disney college program, i miss the warm weather! Do you know anyone else who is going besides boomerang?

Well it's a small world. Warm weather we definitely have! So far I only know of the two of you. It looks like the tour is full though.

So while I am not doing this exact tour, my friend and I are going on London & Paris + Rome. Any clue if we'll be on the same tour and then just split when the time comes? If so, we might be (partial) tourmates. Michelle, what time does your flight leave JFK? We're leaving at 8:05 P.M., I think. We might be on the same flight!

Are you on the Delta flight? We just might be on the same flight. That could be especially helpful when we arrive in London. We can all find our way to the hotel and then travel about the city for the day. I think it is possible we would be on the same tour in London and Paris however I'm not sure how large each tour is and if different groups split off. I guess we'll find out unless someone else out there knows.

Whooops, kind of forgot the whole fact of different airlines. We're on American. I know we got a train ticket to get from LHR to the hotel. Hmmmm. Only (a very short) time will tell!
