I'm travelling alone and wondering how the Amsterdam bit works?

Hey! I'm traveling alone also on this trip & looking forward to meeting everyone! I heard there are at least 25 of us going to Amsterdam, so it shouldn't be too scary.

I just went on this trip...the amsterdam part works as follows:
You and your fellow amsterdam-ees board a train in Paris (unescorted), and you are met by a contiki rep on the other end. He or she takes you to your hotel. On my trip, he arranged an optional canal cruise for us, and then gave a short walking tour of the red light district. You are given a two-day tram pass, and then you are on your own!
