Yes, I've been on the European Discovery tour in September 2004.  That's where I got my taste of good German beer and what drew me back for the Oktoberfest this year.  How about you?  This'll be your first and second trip?  Or have you done others?

Welcome to the tour. I'm going to guess that we have a full bus of people, given that there isn't an option to book the trip any longer and it's a guaranteed departure.

No reason to be nervous, it'll be a lot of fun. My first Contiki trip was 2 years ago. It was the first time I really travelled by myself and the first time I travelled internationally. Very cool time.

I'm also booked on this tour leaving September 23rd. I can' wait. This will be my 2nd Contiki tour. My first one was about 4 years on the SPain/Portugal and I loved it.

I'll warn you, though, I'm doing the Oktoberfest trip before I go on this one, so, I can't guarentee how I'll be feeling the first day of the trip!

Hey everybody

Since this is my first trip, I'm not really sure what to pack. Is everything really casual like jeans and sneakers? Or do I need to bring some nice clothes?

Jackie,

Casual (or comfortable) cloths will most certainly do. However, something nice might come in handy if the group goes to a club or eats at a nice place. One of the optionals on the tour is the Moulin Rouge, which if you're doing, might be an occasion to dress up a bit nicer. But that's one of those calls you make at the last minute.
