*We're also staying just one day later in Rome because of the flight we selected homeward. We're looking for a hotel for just one more night. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Hey, I am most likely doing this tour with my bf and hopefully 2 other friends. We want to do London-Paris and then we are going to take the train up to Amsterdam and stay there on our own. I looked into it, and I found a hotel right in the city center that will be slightly cheaper than doing it through contiki. We are very excited. We are just waiting for me to hear from my school that there will not be a required summer class during that time in May. We all live in CT and will be leaving from JFK or Newark.

I would def look on tripadvisor.com for hotel reviews and info. Also Kayak.com compares hotels and flights. I used these to look into the Amsterdam stuff.

Turns out Contiki cannot help us book an additional Post-trip day. (But they can help with those coming in a day or so earlier than the trip starts.) We've been researching a bit here and there. Now the debate is do we stick with the hotels Contiki has booked us in or "go big or go home?" It'd be nice to live in the lap of luxury, even if for one night, haha.

Kayak.com was instrumental in finding us a STEAL in airfare. Let me know if/when you book, maybe we'll end up on the same flight.
