I am looking to go to Amsterdam after the tour finishes in Paris and was wondering how close/easy is it to the train station?

I will be looking to go to Amsterdam afterwards but as my friend lives there, I do not want to pay for the extra 2 extended days. Will I be able to leave with those who have bought the extension but when I get to the station I buy my train ticket...?
