I'm planning a trip to Europe in Jan 2010 between 3-4 weeks. Is this an off peak season? Anyone planning to go Europe during this period? Thanks.

will be my first time doing a contiki tour. likely i'll be going alone.
my choices are:
european experience, european whirl and european inspiration (winter).

In general Jan is an off peak season, however if you are going anywhere with sking it would be considered peak season.
