hey guys Smiler

ugggghhh lets not mention cheap flights!! we had booked and paid for our flights, and then V australia brought out flights that would have saved us $3000!! i literally cried when i saw their prices. ANYWAY. moving on, money is money...we're there no matter what, so i'll just be grateful for having the opportunity for this trip.

we're in NY one day before this tour starts, and then 4 days after it finishes. not sure what we're going to be doing yet! we haven't booked other accommodation as yet (watching the AU v U.S dollar fall fall fall, then up a cent, woohoo, 70c as of this morning! lol); but i'm definitely looking forward in meeting you both there Smiler

rissi im planning on doing the eastern discovery before the tour, not sure whether its the same as yours as it goes to the same places.
im glad we are all around the same age! i think its nice that there will be a mix of people. i like going out and stuff but i dont want to spend every night out drinking (too old cant handle the hang overs lol).
i would love to see a show on broadway, maybe watch a basketball game or something too.
so excited!!

I think you should definitely come on this tour! I was initially thinking of touring new york solo but i have a really bad sense of direction and i know I'd probably get lost! Plus i think touring with contiki is the cheaper option. I want to see as much as possible and the new york explorer itinerary looks jam packed so i think will get to see a whole lot of new york in the space of 4 days!

I really want to go see a basketball game as well or a Broadway show. Not to sure how to organize tickets in advance but I'm gonna look into it nearer the time!

Were abouts in England are you from? I live in South west London.

you can buy tickets now for the baseball matches when we're over there. i've been watching the prices on the yankees vs canadian...something (mind blank lol) and will purchase before we head over.

There's a flight centre near were i work so i'm gonna go in and see what they have on offer.

Just re-read your post... my bad haha.

I'm all sorted. I've booked and paid for all the tours, flights and accommodation.
Just have to wait for it to come around.

I'm hoping to do the Grand Northern next year. Depends on how much $$ I can save after this trip.

Hey Scott,

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we're going to stay at the Marrakech on the 10th. Did you book direct through them, or did your Travel Agent get you a good deal? May I ask how much was approximate price did you pay for that extra night? Same to you Suzanne.

My email address is brooklyn.c@gmail.com if you want to stay in touch. Or my good ole facebook link is http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=514428711 Just friend request me with the details "New York Explorer" and I'll add you Smiler
