Hey, im planning early for next year, im doing the Big Apple Explorer Feb 19 to 23, would be great to hear from anyone thinking of doing the tour on these dates. Prior to this tour im doing Wild Western from Feb 6 to 18. I am travelling alone, and is my first time overseas! Cheers Tenneile

I was gonna do this tour, then one in LA, but the dates wouldnt match so Im just doing a week on my own in New York before doing a couple of tours on the west coast (LA Scene & LA to the Bay) I'll be in New York from Feb 9 til 15. It'd be cool to find out what everyone will be doing in their free time in NY just to give me some ideas for my time there.

I'm from Brisbane, this is my second trip overseas (first one was with family, though). I have wanted to go to New York since I was a kid, and I'm so excited to finally be going there!
Though all these movies with New York getting blown up and getting attacked by monsters are somewhat making me nervous
Can not wait for the awesome shopping as well. Must remember to pack as little as possible.
FYI. if your going to take the subway anywhere(which is VERY EASY) use www.hopstop.com. Its like mapquest for the subways. Just enter your starting point and destination and it will tell you how to get there. Have fun in NYC!!
Hey guys!! I am going on the big apple tour from th 19th to the 22nd!! I am also then doing the Grand Southern tour from NYC to LA... lOVE to see who is going to be there and that i wont be the only one alone!! Are you guys staying at the Beacon cause i read some forums that said that contiki dosent book through them anymore but i am staying there... love to know some thoughts!!
Not too ong to go now! Can hardly wait... Im staying an additional night at the hotel beacon after the tour finishes and then fly back home! Cant wait to meet everyone!
