Is anyone planning on doing the Big Apple Explorer tour starting May 1? Starting to get a bit worried that no one else is doing this tour!

I"m doing the grand northern tour which starts immediately after the Big Apple Explorer ends - May 4. Initially before I start the tours I'm going to explore Washington a little bit. I can't wait. Not that long to go now!

where are you staying at in NYC the night of april 30th? yeh its super close i know! i leave on dec 10th i am working at mammoth mountain for a few mont5hs first.

Not sure where I'm going to stay before the tour starts. Was planning to get into new york about 3 days prior to the tour starting - just so I can do some sightseeing that's not included in the tour. Currently searching for a super cheap hotel/hostel to stay at. Where are you going to stay?

im not sure yet. seeing as its like 4 months away i might just wait and seeuntil a few months out then i think ill sort out a hostel close to the meeting point

Im doing the new york before the Grand Canadian starting on the 4th May then onto the western highlights tour(May23) . This is part of the last leg of my travells on the way back to austrlaia - have been living in the uk since oct 2005. Look forward to meeting everyone.

I'm booked on the Grand Canadian also for May 4.

I arrive in NY on April 29. Still up in the air about the Big Apple explorer tour at this stage. Will probably decide this coming week if I will take it or do my own thing.

Hey Louise Im joel from vicco in Oz. When do u get to New York? My Grand Southern tours finishes on april 30 and I am in NYC until May 4th. I then fly out to Toronto where I then slowly make my way back to Vancouver before getting back to australia on about the 24th.Let us know if your up for doing any touristy things in NYC prior to the start of your tour. I am staying with a friend in Manhatten at this stage. Cya
