Hi there,

If you have already done The Big Apple Explorer in July, can you advise me about if I'd bether buy tickets for a Broadway show beforehand on the Internet? During the tour in the first day are the group going to buy the tickets? If so, are the lines too long? Would we take the risk to find out that the tickets were sold out? I'd like to watch a musical, as "Chorus Line", or "Wicked", for example. For me, the best thing would be to buy the tickets with the group, in order to have companion to go to the same show. I don't want to get the tickets on the wrong day and missed out on doing it with the group. As I'm going to arrive in New York the day before the tour starts, I'm planning to go to another Broadway show that night, solo. Can I buy the tickets at the theatre, during the afternoon the same day?
Thanks!
Ma

I was looking into tickets as well for August. I think I either will go through Ticket Master / Broadway or Broadway.com were both recomended. The other option would be to stand at the Tkts Both near time square or something and get them half off for that days show but I heard that can be a very long line and they might not have your show. Of course there is also Broadway in Bryant Park that is free and the stars sing a couple of songs from their show starting in July-Aug. I dont know what I'm going to do but I'm going to buy them before the Tony's.

Hi Guys,

I'm a native new yorker (born and raised) and when my friends and i want to see a show we usually go directly to the theatre on the day of and see what they have available.
If you want front row seats then yes, you'll want to buy ahead of time. However if you don't care you can just go to the theatre on the day of the show and still get pretty good seats.

Hope this helped!

There are definitely ways to get good deals on New York City Hotels, New York Limos, and Broadway Shows. For all of these mentioned, last minute booking is definitely the way to go now. You will be amazed at how much money you can save by purchasing/booking last minute.

What is the best way to get a deal on a New York Limo???
I would guess that a town car would be a lot more reasonable or does it really matter in NYC?

I have been told broadway.com is pretty good but also if we have the option to go as a group that would be good also.
