It's cold right now! although I have heard Alberta already has snow! Last winter we were sitting at around -17 celsius.
Crazy flying into the cold! I wish I could go where you're coming from!

Things to know!!!

1. New Years is miserable cold outside in New York, especially at midnight!

2. Obviously pack a coat to go with that small cocktail dress you were going to wear.

3. Times Square is so packed you cant even move for hours before and after new years eve.

4. Be weary of pickpockets they will be out in full force on new years, especially times square

5. Spend an afternoon in Central Park, beatiful scenery, outdoor ice skating, horse n carriage rides.

6. Likewise stay out of central park at night, you will be robbed of your wallet and your dignity.

7. The best bars arent neccessarily around midtown, but only the most expensive ones....the best are down in the village and near NYU.

8. Hoboken, NJ is a PATH train ride away an full of GREAT bars.

9. Look at doin a sunset dinner cruise around the island, romantic an great view of the skyline at night.

10. You will spend much more then you planned on spending, its expensive!!!!

Anything else feel free to ask
