Hi Sylvia

It's nice to meet you. My name is Kaitlynd and I am from Perth. I am 22 yrs old.

Then Big Apple Explorer is the last of my tours. I am doing the LA Scence (15-18/07/07) then the Wild Western (18-30/07/07) and then over to NY that night for the Big Apple on the morning of the 31st. I am in NY for 4 days after the Big apple tour ends.

Nice to meet you too Kaitlynd.

Sounds like you are in for quite the adventure with all your back-to-back tours!

I have been to LA before when I was 15. I was really into Hollywood. I did the Hollywood walk of fame and tour of movie stars homes, went to Venice Beach and Melrose Ave and Rodeo Drive. I had a great time at Universal Studies.

Looks like I will also be seeing some of the same sights as you during my Grand Northern tour.

This is my second time doing Contiki and I am excited!!

Would be interesting to know who else is doing the BAE tour with us...

So far, LG22 (George from Sydney) yourself and I are the only ones that have made posts on the forum for this date.

But I am sure that the closer we get to the tour date there will be more people who will make posts.

Slyvia

That is fantastic. When is your birthday. Mine is about 7 days after I get home from the States.

Yeah 3 months still sounds so far away. Everyone tell me to say 12 weeks because it sounds like less time.

hahahaha yeah 12 weeks sounds much closer.

My b'day is on the 2nd August which will be our last night in NY.

You just miss having yours in the US by a week...oh well, at least you can spend it with family/friends when you get back.

I guess that means we get to go out and have a big party for your birthday...

Yeah I leave NYC on 7th August and I get home on the 9th August and my birthday is the 14th.

I worked it out so that I go back to work on the Wednesday which will be the 15th. I didn't want to work my birthday.

Last year I spent my birthday is SA on a boat. I had been cage diving with the Great White Sharks. They threw me a huge party on the boat. It was great.

any excuse to party will do Smiler

well then technically on the 14th you are still on holidays - its not until you get back to the routine of work that you know the holidays over!

Wow cage diving would have been thrilling...thats something you will never forget!!

I will never forget it I have some of the most amazing photos and video footage from underwater with the sharks. It's something I would recommend everyone do.

It sure does sound amazing, although I think it will freak some people out.

You will have some more amazing photos and video footage from the tours you are about to do.
