Hi all

I'll be travelling to NY on the 11th of June to do the Big Apple Explorer tour on the 12th of June. I was just wondering if there was anyone else doing the same tour at the same time and if they were also going to be there for a few days after the tour has finished.

I will also be travelling alone on this tour and was hoping to get to know a few other people before the tour.

Hi Dorne , i am going to book this tour tomorrow in STA Travel . Am going to be there for a week so i will have the weekend to do whatever i want . Do you know were we will be staying ?

I believe that the hotel in NYC we will be staying at is the Beacon Hotel.

I've booked the night before the tour and a night after but I've had to changed to a different hotel for the rest of my stay as the avaiablilty for the Beacon rooms were a bit pricy when my travel agent checked.

I've never been to the USA and I can't wait either. It gives me something to look forward to on the grey days.

Yeah i haven't booked any hotels before my stay or after yet. The all seem pretty pricey.

I've done a contiki before in Australia an it was really good . Well organised and met some brilliant people .

Hi there

I am also doing he Big Apple on my own. It will also be my first time in the USA. Must admit... I am very nervous and excited.

I am arriving in NY on the 11 June (the day before the tour starts). I have booked the Beacon Hotel. Yes... I do agree NY hotels seem very pricey!!!! But its only 1 extra night.

I will be leaving straight after the Big Apple tour and joining the Grand Southern tour.
