Hey Jo, cool, I've finally found someone! Know anyone else doing the tour? Are you going alone? Where are you from?

I'm not sure whether we have to book extras b4 we go, I haven't got my info from contiki yet but I'm sure it will be in there.

I'm joining this tour in Wellington on the 2nd Feb and then spending a couple of days in Auckland after the tour finishes before heading back, what ru doing?

im from Canberra, i recieved my pack last week tho, i think u should have it by now, have u asked ur travel agent?

oh and the extras are booked on the 1st or 2nd day and payed for at the end of the trip in cash or credit.

so ur only on tour for a few days then, have u been to NZ before?

i'm just doing the tour then heading home on the 5th.

This is my first trip to NZ so I'm super excited! My tour lasts for 6 days from 2 Feb till 7 Feb so it looks like it'll be just the 2 of us for only 4 days! But I'll be in Wellington for the 2 nights before my tour starts, so I'm keen to join in the fun when the tour arrives if it's possible...

Haven't met anyone else yet, but I'm sure the bus will be full of fun loving people like us

Are you bringing a mobile phone over to NZ with you?

yeah ill be taking my phone but wont be using it to much there, i found out wat the rates will be if i do, yesterday. ill just get a phone card if i need to but its only 2 weeks - everyone can miss me

Hey Jo, did you get my PM, do you know how to check them? At the top of the forum there should be all the usual buttons but when you have a new PM it should show a "New PM!" button, just push that. Or you can just go into "Private Messaging" in the "Personal Zone" from the "Go" menu and it will show you all your private messages.

I got my documents yesterday, so exciting!

Yeah, I found out about my expenses were yesterday. I'm with Optus and the rates were:
-26c per minute to receive calls (plus 25c flag fall)
-$1.87 per minute to make calls in NZ
-$3.61 per minute to make calls to AUS!
-71c per SMS
They can wait till I get back or until I get to my email!

I'm actually going over to NZ to play touch so I thought I'd do a tour while I'm over there, what about you?
