I am going on the grand adventurer tour starting in Auckland, June 3rd and was looking to meet some of my tour members. I'm excited to finally go to New Zealand. Na, I did not hear anything yet but when I booked last week Contiki said they hardly ever cancel an Australia or New Zealand trip. She said everything looks good to keep the tour on.
What part of Aus are yous from? I am doing the Beaches and Reefs (down the east cost) tour before the NZ one. I am curious about the weather. Can you give me any advise on either Aus or NZ? I am a little nervous about what to pack because it seams like I'll need two different sets of clothes (summer & winter) and on my last tour I barley made it with only one set. Where do you do your other Contiki?

Hey we're from Bendigo in Victoria. Our first contiki was European Impressions in June 06 loved it. East coast will be practically 25 degrees celcius this time of year if you stay up north. Everyone just wears casual t shirt and shorts kind of clothes not too dressy unless you're going out. Don't know much about nz sorry. When is your aussie tour starting, do you have msn?

I will be landing in Syd May 17th but the tour starts May 20th. We go up to Cairns June 2nd. Victoria is all the way SE, right? When you say unless you're going out-- what type of clothes would be suitable for the club / bar scene? How is the Aus party scene? Not, that I'm an alkie but I do plan to go out and party. I found on my UK/Europe tour not many people wanted to go out late. My thought process is have fun doing the tourist stuff during the day but going out meeting the locals and enjoying the nightlife is important when traveling too.
