Yeh I was nervous about doing it on my own as well but everyone kept telling me that lots of people do it! Hope there's more than just me and you though, ha ha.
When do you get to Auckland? I've got 2 nights prior to tour and 3 nights in Christchurch at the end.
Yeh I've got plenty of holidays saved up so thought I'd take a bit of extra time to prepare and relax at the end!
I think I'm also staying at the hotel where it starts - my travel agent just booked it all. I assume that's where she booked me in, I hope so anyway! 6 weeks tomorrow til it starts!
Hey I heard that we join other tour groups..as in, we join on the Grand Explorer when it comes down to Auckland. Do you know if that's right? So if that's the case, there's a bunch of people on the Grand Explorer forum leaving 28th October that we will probably be meeting up with.
yeah I read somewhere that the tours (if not all of them) all link up and and separate at some point, which means there could be up to 50 people at a time on the same leg of the tour. Which means there's gonna be heaps of different people to meet!
