Hi, Im doing the grand explorer starting on the 22nd of june till July 6th. So im pretty sure thats the same tour i just leave 2 days earlier and the two tours join up on the 24th.

When do you arrive in New Zealand? I'm arriving a couple of days before the trip starts and I'll be staying in the same hotel that the trip is starting from. If you're going to be arriving before the 24th you'll have to let me know and maybe we'll be able to meet up?
Have you decided what sort of clothes you are taking? I'm not sure whether thermals are going to be in order considering how cold the weather can apparently get!? Have you been there before?
Are you flying back to Oz straight after the trip? I'll be flying to Sydney the day after the trip finishes, as I'm doing a tour around Oz with Contiki through July! You'll have to tell me when I see you where the good places are to go there!!
I know 6 weeks! so exciting. I arrive on the 20th so i ave 2 days in Auckland before i leave to do the bay of islands bit, so we should meet up.When do you arrive? I think im going to stay at the base backpackers cause the hotel is so expensive, but im staying in the contiki hotel for one night in christchurch. are you? I been spending so much money on warm clothing and from what i hear about the weather i thermals are a must haha. What are yoou planing to do in nz? im having such a hard time cause i want to do everything but its to much if i do that so at the moment im thinking skydiving and the canyon swing and many more haha. Thats so exciting that your coming to Aus aswell, are you going to Melb aswell cause thats where i live. I know, the hotel is really expensive. My flight out there got changed to a day earlier so I've had to pay for an extra night there, rubbish! Being lazy though and can't be bothered to stay somewhere else and then move!
I've not really thought about what I want to do in New Zealand yet, had a look at the activities a while back and can't remember them now! Will have another look! I would like to do a sky dive, though can't decide whether to do it in NZ or in OZ!
