I'm going on the Grand Adventurer tour from the 2 Feb to the 17 Feb 2007 and i was wondering who else would be on that trip! I am travelling by myself and just seeing if others are too.

If you're on the trip that starts in Christchurch ending in Auckland then I'm on the same one!

I'm sort of going by myself (if that makes sense). I went on my first Contiki tour this summer around Europe and met some good friends mostly from Australia there. One of the friends I made on that trip from Australia is also coming on the same trip with her sister.

Anyhow, I'm really looking forward to it! Just 7 weeks to go.

So where abouts in the world are you from? And are you staying over in Christchurch the night before? It would be good to get a group of people to meet up for a few drinks the night before we all leave.

That sounds really fun, except i'm on the reverse trip that starts in Auckland! too bad hey! I'm from Australia so not too far from home. Damn it would have been good to meet you and get together the night before.

Never mind. Hope you have a fantastic time.

Our groups may even meet along the way. When I did a Europe tour in Summer we bumped into other Contiki groups along the way who were doing it in reverse. It made for good party nights when 3 Contiki buses rolled into the same place.

Like I said before, I hope you have a brilliant time. I'm off to Aus straight after the trip to catch some warm weather! I can't waiting as I'll be leaving the English bleak winter behind for a month!

I'm doing the Auckland to Christchurch run from Feb 5th to 19th. I'm also doing the Aussie Explorer from Sydney to Darwin followed by a week in Melbourne. I'm anxious for tour to begin and to meet you all.

Hey Aaron. I might bump into you on tour as I am doing this tour backwards. They tend to bump into one another as there are many running at different times and in different directions. I'll also be in Sydney after the tour. What dates will you be in Sydney? I'll be there from 23rd to 28th spending time in Adelaide the week before that.

Anyhow enjoy your trip!!! 5 weeks or so to go!

I'll be in Sydney on Feb. 20th to the 25th. I then catch the Aussie Explorer tour which goes up the coast into Queensland and then out to the Northern Territory. I'll be spending about a week afterwards in Melbourne. I was thinking about tacking on something else and moving the return flight. Possibly a trip out to Perth??

are you sure your doing the grand adventurer 2nd to 17th feb...as i cannot see anywhere that there is a tour departing those times.
im doing the grand adventurer 7th to 18th feb starting at auckland.
like you im travelling alone and hoping to meet with some contiki's the night before.
