I'm going alone too. Leaving New York on Christmas Eve and arriving in Auckland two days later. Yes, I'll be staying at the Mercure the first night : )

Hi Morgan!

I'm 26. For the past couple of years I went back and forth with the idea of traveling to New Zealand. It's a long trip and a lot of money but it's a beautiful country and I like the tour itinerary and optional excursions.

I still don't know how much money I'm bringing. What about you? I'll be using credit card for most of the optional excursions. I'm planning on doing the bungy (thrillogy), skydiving, and moonlight stables horse riding. Haven't decided on any of the other choices but I'll probably do most of them. What about you?
