I'm interested in going to New Zealand doing the Grand Adventurer tour. I am thinking about goin in Januray 2007 and wonder what the tour will cost me?
If anyone has been on the Grand Adventurer & can give me some good pointers on what the tour is like, how much it would cost me etc, that would help me out alot.

dunno if you're in the right place to ask for advice re: how great the tour is, how much its ganna cost, etc, etc coz i'm pretty sure this forum mainly targets those who are yet to go on their trip!

now, i can't tell you if the tour is any good - but it damn well better be! :P - but i've booked my tour and so far the itinerary sounds pretty good. besides, NZ should be like potatoes - it's pretty impossible to screw up.

as for the financial side, i can tell you that the price they quote on the 'rates' page is a quad share price. i ended up adding about $200 on top of the quoted price coz my bf and i wanted a twin share.

but please don't take my word for it! the best thing is really to call up and ask. emails if you're shy. i ended up shooting the Aust Contiki team about a million emails and now i'm sorted haha.
