hey i live up on the gold coast i cant wait to get over there and party with everyone to... i fly out on the 13th of june from brissey airport and am also staying at the royal national for the few days prior to the trip i still cant believe the trip is booked out where are all of our other party ppl??? where abouts do u live on the central coast??

I'm getting into London the day before the tour, in the morning, and I'm staying at the Royal National. I'll also be staying in London the night after the tour and flying out the next evening. There are a few places I want to see in London, sure hope I have the time. I think its unfortunate that the tour dosen't spend more time in London.

I'm getting in the day before and staying at the Royal National too!
But I'm flying in from Halifax.
Am on the Gold Coast now if anyone this way wants to catch up for a coffee or something and will be in Auckland to fly to Canada about the 10-11th of May . . .

oh awesome your on the gold coast now yeah we should meet up for sure. im working 80 weeks atm trying to get heaps of spending money so working out a time might be tricky lol... its getting close now cant wait..so is everyone going straight home after the tour?? or traveling around i have an open 2 year ticket with no plans at all where abouts on the coast are u staying??

I'm here until about the 3rd of May and am pretty much open in terms of time (this is the start of my holiday). Only exception is the weekend of 28/29 April as am visiting friends in Brissy. Am staying in Elanora.
After the tour I have 23 days in the UK before I fly to Asia to begin another tour with Intrepid.

2 year open ticket? Wow! I've got 1 1/2 months after the trip with no plans! I'm glad others are doing the same

What would be a good ammount of spending money to bring on this trip? I have a number in mind already, I just want to see what other people are thinking.

From what I've seen $$ wise in some of the forums, the recommendation is about $100AUD per day (I think).

p.s. am in Canada now - is the first place I've been where it snows in summer.

Snowing? What part of Canada are you in? Unless you are in the far north or at high altitudes, I can't imagin it snowing. Here in Winnipeg, it has been un seasonabley cool latley, and frost warnings at night, but no snow.

It was last Monday(or Tuesday - not sure on my days anymore) in Charlottetown on PEI. It was snowing but it wasn't settling as it was raining on and off also.
