My friend and I have just booked ourselves onto the Ultimate Euro trip + Egypt departing London 5th July 2009. Would love to hear from anyone out there who is also booked on the same trip. The countdown is on Woohoohooo!!!

i know me to.. im going alone, i have a heap of friends over in london at the moment so i am staying with them for the 5 days before the contiki start so doing some site seeing around the area have list of things i want to see.. post contiki i fly home the day after the trip finishes, im having the 2 months im away off work so gota get back to work ..

Yeah tell me about it, i've got a huge list of things i want to see too! That will be good you have friends there to show you around, i think we mite just do the hop on hop off bus tour to see the sights of London.
We're from Melbourne, and are in the same boat as you, could only take 2 months max off work, what do you do for work? We get into london the day before Contiki, then afterwards we are spending another 4 nights in London then heading to Mykonos for 5 nights (so we get best of both worlds!).
Im going on the 5th July Euro/Egypt trip too! Then 4 nights in London Explorer. Post Ultimate trip doing the 8 nights Great Britain thing with a day break in between. Going solo and cant wait!
True! Ive been cutting pics of the places we are going too, being a bit of a nerd planning out the places to see and checking out maps of how to get there. lol

My name is Mandy and I am also booked on the Ultimate European Trip departing July 5th and going to Egypt! I am going by myself, so it's definately nice to see a few others who are as well, so we're in the same boat! It's a bit scary, but very exciting, don't think it has quite hit me yet that I will be in Europe for almost two months - YIKES! It should be a great trip, though! I am from Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Canada; and am a teacher, so this trip is my WHOLE summer vacation! Look forward to seeing you all on the trip!
Welcome aboard! Yeah its very exciting, to think we will be overseas for 2 months and only in just under 11 weeks!!! I'm travelling with a friend, but the other 2 girls on here are travelling solo so your not alone, it will be great.
