Just wanted to get an idea of what people intend on taking... Im a bit confused as I have heard people say they are taking either...

i've just done the UE tour. there are advantages to both cuz some of the hotels and a bit further away then the bus parks so something with wheels is good but contiki sites are rather rocky and sometimes hilly so throwing somthing on your back is better. sorry cant be more help. it doesnt matter a whole lot. on my tour most people at suitcase's about a dozen had backpacks.

depends what your going to do before and after contiki.
if your going to other places before and after contiki = BACKPACK
if your going straight onthe contiki and straight home from contiki = SUITCASE

backpack carry anywere no probs.
