Am planning on going on the Ultimate European tour in June & July of 2010. Has anyone else planned that far ahead yet, or am I the only person planning 18 months in advance? Am thinking of going alone, so would be great to meet some others interested (even semi!) in this tour
ur not the only person thinking that far ahead.. i was actually thinking of doing July-August of 2010, dunno why tho!! lol!! you doing greek islands or Egypt.. as if you wouldnt go to egypt.. good to see i wont be the only person on my contiki tour haha!
Probably gonna head to the Greek Islands, plan on doing an Egypt tour a few years after. Just think I might burn out if I do Egypt as well. You're thinking of the Egypt option then?
im planning on going on the UE trip in May 2010. i was originally planning on going on the ANZAC trip but wanted to be in Europe when it was going to be warmer so moved it to then. im planning on doing the Greek island option but am doing the Egypt and nile trip before UE.
ur definitely not planning too far in advance as i pretty much have my 6 month trip planned out but have to wait until october next year for 2010 dates to be released.
Sooo true. I figure 18 months gives me plenty of time to save. Contemplating doing the Berlin-Prague tour after the UE, then travelling back to London via Belguim and possible back to Paris before London and then home.
Plan on fitting all of this in between the last three weeks of semester one and the beginning of semester two of uni...not entirely sure how I'll go...
yeh definatly egypt option.. wouldnt miss it!! absolutly cant wait to go.. will be insane!! Only 18 months to go.. sounds so far away but i know it will fly!!
I'm planning to go on this tour around May/June 2010. I wanted to go this year in August, but realistically I knew I wouldn't be able to afford it and would have to sacrifice a bit... ie, go on a shorter tour, and I definitely want to go on this one! So 15-ish months to go!
I'm thinking the Greek Islands option. I'd really love to go Egypt (I've always had a bit of an obsession...) but I figure I'll go on a separate tour for Egypt instead.
I am thinking of going on this trip in may 2010 and doing the eqypt option. I am so excited I am driving everyone crazy! It seems so far away but I have plenty of time to save and get time off work! It is going to be amazing!

I'm the same...would love to go to Egypt but don't want to ruin it (or the rest of Europe) by being too tired. 6 days in the Greek islands sounds pretty Less than 15 months to go!
Okay so... I've been reading UE travelogues and I reaaaally want to go to Egypt now too! But I don't want to pass up 6 days on the islands. I'm thinking maybe the Egypt 8 day tour afterwards...? I don't know if I'm waaay over my head here. =/
Im planning on doing the UE towards the end of May 2010 aswell.. (going solo Ahhhhh)
Im going to do the Greek Islands option. Then travel on my own for a week or 2, Thinking Berlin and Prauge. (Not going to book anything before i go, just leave some free time incase i meet others that want to travel on aswell.)
After that im going to fly to Egypt as my last destination and do the 8 day tour there..
Now we just have to wait till the dates come out so we can book.. I'll start up a facebook group once its all booked so make sure you join if we end up on the same date..
