Hey, My boyfreind and I are planning our 2008 contiki tour and Have decided on the ultimate european option. Its abit early to be asking but is anyone planning? We are planning on a june 2008 trip.

i was planning my 2007 tour a year a head early aswell like you, best time to start brain storming. best to look on contiki site around october novemeber this yr for next yrs people and prices.

I'm going in June 2008! I would have gone this year but I'm staying at university a year longer, hence why I'm planning so early!

My best friend and I are currently planning the same trip for around june next year, depending on the dates published later this year. We're taking the egypt option over the resort. I dont think its too early. We're already going to travel expos, fitting the trip around studies/work. And have been making logs of how much it should all cost lol. I must admit im already thinking of what to take. A bit crazy! but the more you think/plan the easy it is to get through the year until its time to book!.

I am also starting to plan for 2008. I am thinking about UE with Mykonos option (as I've have just been to Egypt-which was great though) for about April 2008.
I don't think its too early because it costs so much you need time to save.
I am planning in staying on in London after and working for awhile so I'd love to hear from anyone else thinking about doing the same thing

I've love to go this year, but I don't think I'll be able to raise enough money for extra excursions and everything. I can only just at the moment barely afford the trip.

I'm from Ontario and I am going on the UE with the Mykonos option around June 2008 for sure. Just making enough money this summer to go... its never to early to start thinking about a trip this big!!!

I am also planning on going to the egypt version in spring 2008. Is there any reason to pick the resort over egypt? i cant really think of any! also, do the meals included cater to vegetarians/vegans?, is it safe to bring a laptop--will we even ever get to use wireless?

Besides airfare and the trip I am taking an extra 2500 for food, drinks and spending money. This is alot, but I want to be covered for anything and everything, and most of all have the time of my life.

Tresbase 13 also asked a question about Egypt. Egypt is awesome I went there for 3 weeks in Jan and loved every minute of it. The only reason I'd say to go to the greece resort instead is because 5 or 6 days in Egypt is just not enough time there is so much to see there...I'd go another time when you can spend a few weeks exploring....But I'm sure if you go u would love it as much as I did

I also want to do the ultimate european in 2008 - on my own in mid-late june. I was going to go in may but My uni graduation ceremony is in June. I think I am going to do the Mykonos option and spend the time sunbaking, wouldn't you need it if you were constantly on the go?
