You wont need heels unless you want them, you can get into clubs and evryhwere else in jandals, nobodies going to look at your feet, its actually easier with jandals because theres cobblestoned paths

Its easier to take a pack than a suitcase as there are going to be ALOT of stairs, a suitcase with wheels that can also be carried would be best

you WILL NEED hand sanitiser as some rest stops dont contain soap! and either a good book or portable game player or something for the very long hours on the bus, and a pillow, its painful to sleep on the window.

Hey Everyone, im leaving to do a ultimate european in two days, ive packed my case although i was silly and bort full bottles of shampoo/conditioner/sunscream etc, bringing all my first aidy stuff over aswell which is definately heavy, so by the end of the trip i will just throw all left over stuff away or what not. although right now my case is 23kilos, emirites now allows 30kilos suitcase and 7kilos hand luggage, so i believe after buying stuff in europe i will be fine to come back as its 30kilos, i would have emptied my case of all left over bottles etc, plus i get 7 kilos hand luggage. although my question is do contiki weigh ur case everyday b4 departure or is it just the first day, as if it is just on the first day ill pull a few kilos out n use it on the bus as hand luggage!!?? any one know?? help help x

hi ash, they do weigh your suitcase at the start before you get on the bus i think its 25kgs but they dont weigh it ever again. if you do get too heavy you can send a box of stuff back when you get to amsterdam, theres a post office across the road from the hotel, my frend and i sent back a 20kg box full of liquor clothes and all sorts and it cost us 100 euro and it takes about 3 monthd to get back, (we took the cheaper option) and it was perfect nothing was broken or anything.
